How do I make a booking?

See our step by step instructions on the Hiring The Hall page. We use an online system called Hallmaster. Click here to book

How do I change a booking?

Some customers will be able to change their bookings via their Hallmaster log in. Generally, these are hirers who have recurring bookings with us. For one off hires please contact the booking secretary at bookings@markvillagehall.co.uk as there may be charges depending on the notice period given for cancellation. What do I do if I have forgotten my Hallmaster password?

If you remember your user name you can click on the "reset password" link on the Hallmaster site. For additional help there is a "login Issue?" link on the Hallmaster login page.

Can I hire glasses and cutlery and crockery?

You can hire glasses, cutlery and crockery. You will be asked if you want to hire these when making your booking online.

Do you have a designated bar area?

Yes we do its adjoining the main hall separated by a sliding door

Do you have a stage?

Yes we have a stage which is fully equipped with lighting and sound system

Do you have parking?

Yes we have a large car park

Do you have policies and procedures?

We have all the relevant policies which can be found on our home page

Do you allow bouncy castles?

Yes we do allow bouncy castles. Please check the hall measurement on the hiring the hall page to make sure your equipment will fit.

What's the difference between Mark Village Hall and Mark Community Association?

Mark Community Association (MCA) is the charitable organisation that was founded in 1970. It owns/manages the community assets and is responsible for the governance, finances, maintenance, and development of the village hall and grounds. It is a registered charity with trustees.
Mark Village Hall is the building and facility for hire and use for events, classes, meetings, parties, and community activities.

How do I join Mark Village Hall Committee?

We would love you to join our community, everyone is welcome. Either come along to one of our meetings, or email our Chairman to get involved. We look forward to welcoming you!

What kind of events does Mark Village Hall committee organise?

We organise a variety of events throughout the year, including events, parties, quizzes and social gatherings. Our events are designed to provide opportunities for learning, networking, and having fun with like-minded individuals. For the foreseeable future any funds raised at any of our events will be going towards the replacement roof.

How do I log an issue with the Hall?
